Your role will be to lead the finance team and co-ordinate financial administration for the whole organisation. You will work within a Management Team and help to devise, implement and review priorities guided by LYCS strategy and plans which you will be responsible for producing and achieving with staff.
The objective of the newly created role of the Macra na Feirme Agricultural Student Development Officer is to drive and develop Macra na Feirme’s presence in Agricultural colleges, while supporting Teagasc and other staff to develop the offering to students. You will be responsible for recruiting students into Macra na Feirme and developing a program offering through the Macra na Feirme club model.
Essential requirements include: Relevant recognised Diploma in Social Care / Applied Social Studies in Social Care (Level 7 on National Framework of Qualifications). Minimum of 2 years experience of working with persons with intellectual disability. A working knowledge of the HIQA standards and the Health Care Act 2007. Experience in supporting people in their local community.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in Addiction Rehabilitation Services with 2 years at managerial / Team leader level.
A relevant third level qualification in the field of Early Childhood Care & Education (a minimum QQI Level 5 or relevant equivalent is required). A passion for working with young children and their families. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to work as part of a team.
