The Local Employment Service is an integrated service to meet the needs of unemployed people who experience barriers in accessing employment, education or training.
The Social Care Worker will care for and support vulnerable or dependent residents, individually or in groups, in conjunction with the wider multidisciplinary team and other relevant agencies. S/he will ensure the welfare of those under his / her care and will act as an advocate as appropriate. Within the Residential Care Setting, the Social Care Worker will work as part of a team to provide a safe, caring environment for people supported in St Marys.

The ideal candidate will have completed a minimum Level 9 Psychotherapy qualification to Masters level, be a fully accredited member of IACP, IAHIP, PSI or equivalent and have a working knowledge of the Resonance factor model and ideas about how it may be used in conjunction with psychotherapeutic approaches within a trauma informed framework.

The Intercultural Health Hub Community Development Worker will be responsible for engaging members of Roma Communities, Refugees and People Seeking International Protection in Waterford and South Tipperary in order to develop a partnership approach towards improving their health outcomes.
Main Responsibilities: Provide an accommodation support service to women and children seeking and availing of crisis accommodation in WCWAV Safe House. Develop links with local community and services in area where Safe House is located. Case Work with women and their families using the Safe House.
