Family Support Project Worker (Fulltime)

Hope Cottage is the regional family support service based in Kill, County Kildare. The service supports families affected and impacted by drug and alcohol misuse. The service covers the Kildare and West Wicklow area and is managed by the South Western Regional Drug and Alcohol Task Force (SWRDATF).

The Family Support Project Worker will be based at Hope Cottage, Kill, Co. Kildare and will be required to engage in direct work with families and to work on an outreach basis in targeted areas with key stakeholders including staff and other organisations working in the region.

Relevant qualifications and /or experience of a minimum of 2 years in any of the following areas : addiction studies, addiction counselling , social care, youth work or community studies is essential.

This is a fixed term fulltime contract (35 hours per week) initially to 30th June 2021 and renewable subject to ongoing funding. This position is funded by Health Ireland (Round 3) through Co. Kildare LCDC and CYPSC.
