MQI wishes to appoint a Graduate Intern at our Rehabilitation Service - St. Francis Farm, Tullow, Co. Carlow
What is it?
This programme offers an exciting opportunity for college graduates to gain skills, knowledge and experience in the area of social care especially as it relates to the issues of addiction and / or homelessness. We are especially interested in hearing from graduates who have completed degree qualifications in either social care or social science where you can put into practice the learning and skills you have acquired and wish to develop further in the area of addiction and /or homelessness.
What do we provide?
The Graduate Internship programme will run from April 2020 to March 2021 and we are now recruiting for it. While on our programme, the graduate intern is paid a living allowance of €18,382 per annum based on a 35-hour week. They have access to regular supervision, quality based training and employee assistance. As well as being primarily allocated to work in one service, they also have the opportunity to visit each of the other MQI services to see how they operate.
What do we ask of the Graduate Intern?
In exchange for this, they are asked to work 35 hours a week for a period of one year. It is important to us that they are committed to developing their skills and knowledge for the benefit of those who are marginalized through drug use or homelessness.
Salary: €18,382 per annum
Hours: 35 hours
Days: Monday to Friday
Location: St. Francis Farm, Tullow, Co. Carlow
Contract: 12 month Fixed-Term Contract, April 2020 to March 2021.
