Treo’s main aim is to reduce criminal activity among the people in its target group thus contributing to making Waterford a safer community in which to live. Treo offers to each participant education, social and vocational support while challenging offending attitudes and behaviour.

- From Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, Treo operates a Special Rehabilitative Community Employment Scheme for stabilised drug users aged 18 to 35 from west Waterford.
- Treo operates a full-time Local Training Initiative for disengaged people aged 16 to 23, also based in Dungarvan Co. Waterford.
- Renew Social Enterprises is the trading arm of Treo. This business employs people who have accumulated convictions to provide a range of products and services in the southeast.

Treo now wishes to recruit a full-time Project / Link Worker for its operations in Waterford city. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be part of an experienced and dedicated multi-disciplinary team. The Project / Link Worker will have a varied and dynamic workload.
The Project/Link Worker will be expected to become proficient and develop expertise over time in a range of proven approaches i.e. Restorative Practice, Restorative Justice, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Approaches. The Project / Link Worker will also be expected to contribute to policy development at organizational, regional and national level.
This will become a pensionable position after a probationary period. Treo has a Lifelong learning commitment to staff providing Continuing Professional Development opportunities. Professional Supervision and Reflective practice will be provided. A company contributory pension scheme will be put in place for the Project / Link Worker.
Applicants must have a minimum of a level 8 degree in Social Care or equivalent with at least 3 years post qualification experience. The successful candidate will also need access to a car to perform their duties.
