Pavee Point is looking to recruit a Mental Health Community Development Worker (CDW)!
The Mental Health CDW will be part of the Traveller Mental Health Initiative, which uses a local and regional approach to Traveller mental health, focusing on improving mental health outcomes for Travellers. It does so by promoting equality of access, participation and outcomes for Travellers in mainstream mental health services. Underpinned by a social determinants of health analysis, the project adopts a community development approach by promoting Traveller empowerment, participation and leadership in all aspects of the work.
This appointment is for a full time fixed term contract of 6 months with the possibility of extension dependent on funding and is open to part time applicants.
