Donnycarney Drug & Alcohol Project is a community-based organisation working with those affected by addiction. We are looking for individuals with passion, expertise, drive and initiative for our Case Worker position.

Candidates must have:

Essential Criteria

  • A relevant third level qualification (Degree) in Addiction, Social Science or other relevant discipline and demonstrate an exceptional track record
  • A minimum of three years’ experience at senior level in a Community based multi-disciplinary initiative
  • An understanding of current Drug and Alcohol policy issues and best practice
  • Have excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Have experience of client assessment and development of Care Plans
  • Have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Experience of developing exciting new programmes
  • Experience of QQI accreditation and validation process (Desirable)
  • Full Clean Driving Licence and D1 Licence is desirable
