Threshold is a national Housing charity, founded in 1978, with regional advice centres in Dublin, Cork and Galway. Threshold provides frontline advice, advocacy and support services to those facing housing problems in Ireland with 76,010 calls annually.
We are currently seeking applications for the following position
Assistant Manager, Tenancy Protection Service, funded by the Dublin Region Homeless Executive.
Location: 21 Stoneybatter, Dublin 7.
Hours: The position is full time (37.5 hours per week) and while the office is open from Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.30pm the service operates from 9am to 9pm and as a result the role requires flexibility from the post holder.
Reports to: Dublin Services Manager
Salary – TBA
- To work with those at risk of becoming homeless and homeless people to solve their housing problems
- To make suitable assessments for referral to the DEASP (Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection) for ITSP (Interim Tenancy Sustainment Protocol) for families and or Article 38 (DEASP) for individuals.
- To lead a team, to provide an efficient and effective advice and advocacy service to clients who contact the Threshold TPS with their housing problems with an emphasis on helping people to help themselves
- To contribute to the overall development of Threshold as an agency working to address the underlying causes of housing problems and homelessness
