CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER 1 / SOCIAL CARE LEADER

Permanent Full time (78 hours per fortnight)

Essential Requirements

  • Be willing to take on the role of Person in Charge of a designated centre(s)
  • Minimum of 3 years management/supervisory experience, preferably in the role of Person In Charge
  • Experience in and commitment to developing supports that are person centred
  • A proven ability to explore, discover, develop and implement a vision with each individual that supports person centredness
  • A proven ability to lead and support teams
  • Have successfully completed a relevant management course
  • Experience of working with people with a range of support needs to include behaviours of concern
  • Have experience in developing and implementing positive behaviour supports
  • Experience in and commitment to promoting community presence
  • Knowledge of statutory regulations, standards, role of person in charge and Health Act 2007
  • Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Good I.T. skills
  • Attention to detail is paramount, with a specific focus on ensuring that all stakeholders under your remit maintain documentation accurately and within set timeframes
  • Full current driving licence
  • An ability to demonstrate Flexibility

Essential Requirements CNM1:

  • On the live register of An Bord Altranais essential - [RNID qualification]
  • Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in I.D. services

Essential Requirements SOCIAL CARE LEADER:

  • Relevant recognised Diploma in Social Care / Applied Social Studies in Social Care (Level 7 on National Framework of Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in I.D. services
