Job Summary: Delivering financial administration to a team of dedicated Support Workers providing emergency accommodation to vulnerable residents. Situated in the York House Lifehouse you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administrative service, specific responsibilities including:

Finance Administration – Working as part of the team to ensure the most effective use of financial and other resources, responsibilities include general finance duties not limited to assisting with monitoring and preparing annual budgets using the Salvation Army accounting system, inputting and monitoring the Purchase and Sales ledger, supervise handling of cash for banking and petty cash and ensure all accounting records are maintained in accordance with recognised procedures, collating and processing invoices/delivery notes as they arrive, liaising with Central Finance, entering all expenditure on Sage as directed, assist in reviewing Budget reports for Business Meetings, prepare weekly cash reports, liaise with Hub Suppliers, processing expense claims, preparing weekly cash reports, manage and maintain petty cash payments and cash level. Personnel-related responsibilities include maintaining employee records, collating/filing sickness reports, uploading Bradford Factor details, processing New Starter/Leaver paperwork, recruitment admin.

Payroll – Weekly/monthly payroll collation/preparation, ensuring relevant documentation relating to employee wages is completed, processing staff timesheets.

General Administration – Overall maintenance of the Admin Office, administration of Business Boards, stock management, interface with IT Department, 1st point of contact for external enquiries, managing post.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Motivation towards supporting vulnerable clients to achieve focussed and positive life outcomes. A skilled multi-tasker, with an attention to detail and the ability to successfully work within a fast-paced and changing environment, you will be able to demonstrate good customer service and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload.

Appointment subject to satisfactory references and right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
