Foothold Floating Support Worker position
PACE is a not-for-profit organisation that works in the community with people with convictions. Over the past seven years, PACE has developed a unique suite of Prevention Services targeted at people with convictions for harmful sexual behaviour. The aim of these three programmes is to prevent further offences. These services include the Safer Lives Treatment Programme, the Foothold Floating Support Service and the Circles of Support and Accountability. These services work as part of a multi-agency risk management strategy using a strengths-based approach in a desistance framework.
Foothold Floating Support Worker – to work in a frontline position on a one-to-one/paired basis with a small caseload of clients classified as being high risk and high need. At least three years’ experience of working with challenging behaviour and substantial knowledge of the homeless sector is required. Flexibility and an ability to lone work is also essential. Previous experience of working with prisoners is desirable.
