MS Ireland are now seeking a part-time Schools Education Executive to work as a key member of our Communications and Fundraising Team. This new development role offers an exciting opportunity to build on a small campaign and roll it out to education centres nationally.

Job Description

Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, this role is responsible for developing and delivering a new education project for Multiple Sclerosis Ireland nationally. MS Ireland has a small school ambassador programme which runs as part of the MS Readathon, a one month sponsored reading campaign in schools which is our flagship event.

With the creation of this new role of Schools Engagement Executive we wish to expand this programme into a National Education programme. Working closely with a range of stakeholders including teachers, educational professionals and MS ambassadors the programme will focus on promoting awareness of MS and raising funds for our services.

This is a demanding role requiring the successful candidate to be a skilled communicator, capable of developing an education programme, training and managing a large number of volunteers to deliver this programme.
