Supervisor / Instructor / Unit Lead for our Rehabilitative Training Programme
Qualifications & Personal Qualities/Attributes:
- Applicants should have an appropriate Third Level qualification in Social Care/Intellectual Disability (ID) /Education and or Training. Enthusiasm, flexibility, creativity, excellent communication and team working skills are also required for this position.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the delivery of training for people with ID is essential, with’ supervisory experience desirable. Responsible for supporting and progressing the Individual Goals of Service Users, through a Person Centred Planning Process based on the HSE New Directions Policy. Knowledge of the Personal Outcomes Measures System (POMS) Quality system and or Supported Self-Directed Living would be an advantage.
Salary: the appointment will be made at the appropriate point on the Department of Health and Children salary scale for Supervisor/Instructors (Specialist Agencies).
