Home Care Worker – Meath Home Care

The Society is currently recruiting a Home Care Worker for Meath Home Care who will be based in assigned family homes with offices based in Parish Centre, Patrick St, Trim, Co. Meath
This is a permanent contract, working up to 20 hours per week.
Reporting to the Home Care Coordinator, the Home Care Worker is responsible for providing person centred care to people with dementia, addressing their needs and enhancing their quality of life.
To be successful in this role you will need experience of working with people with dementia, older people or people with intellectual disabilities. A FETAC level 5 qualification is desirable but not essential.
You will need good communication and organisational skills and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
A full driving licence is essential.
Salary will be commensurate with the care sector, and dependent on relevant experience.
