Safe Ireland is the National Social Change Agency working on eradicating domestic violence (DV) in Ireland. We are a key part of the infrastructure in Ireland to transform the response to domestic violence and work to reduce the prevalence of domestic violence in Ireland. We collaborate and work with 37 specialist frontline domestic violence service providers throughout Ireland.
Mayo Women’s Support Services (MWSS) is a frontline service of Safe Ireland. It is the lead agency in Mayo addressing the issue of domestic violence. MWSS provide a range of supports and services to women and children experiencing domestic violence in Mayo including refuge accommodation, childcare, helpline, an outreach service and community based supports.
We are currently recruiting the following post:
Title: Domestic Violence Support Worker
Contract: Fixed Term Contract to cover a Carer’s Leave
Hours: 39 hours Per Week
Location: Castlebar, Co. Mayo
The job holder must have a full clean driving licence and the use of a car for work. Garda Vetting will apply.
