Galway Simon Community is currently recruiting for the following position:
Housing and Services Support Coordinator
This role will involve providing a person centred housing service to clients living in Galway Simon Community’s housing and ensuring our housing policies are in line with best practice and national standards for Approved Housing Bodies. Some of the main duties will include:
- Overseeing the housing allocations process ensuring timely advertising of vacancies with key stakeholders, conducting interviews and keeping voids to a minimum.
- Ensuring rents are set as per Galway Simon Communities Rent Management Policy and deliver rent collection and management protocols in line with this policy.
- Managing the repair and maintenance of Galway Simon properties, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for clients and staff.
- Responding to any incidents of anti-social behaviour or neighbourhood nuisance complaints accordingly.
