We are seeking to recruit to the following position:



Permanent Full time (78 hours per fortnight)

Essential Requirements SOCIAL CARE LEADER:

  • Relevant recognised Diploma in Social Care / Applied Social Studies in Social Care (Level 7 on National Framework of Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 3 years post qualification management experience in I.D. services
  • Be willing to take on the role of Person in Charge of a designated centre(s)
  • Experience in and commitment to developing supports that are person centred
  • A proven ability to lead and support teams
  • Experience of working with people with a range of support needs to include behaviours of concern and autism
  • Experience in and commitment to promoting community presence
  • Knowledge of statutory regulations, standards, role of person in charge and Health Act 2007
  • Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills
  • Full current driving licence
  • An ability to demonstrate Flexibility
  • Recognised Management course

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience of youth work and/or working with young people to develop positive friendships;
  • Experience of supporting young people to develop interpersonal and social skills;
