Hillview Resource Centre is looking for a Level 8 Room Leader to run their preschool. Candidates must have a minimum level 8 Childcare Qualification and at least 2 years experience in a supervisory role.
The Deputy Manager will have responsibility for working with the Childcare Manager and staff Team in the provision of high quality childcare to the children, parents and guardians availing of the facility on a daily basis. The Deputy Manager will have overall managerial responsibility for the day to day activities within Suaimhneas Community Childcare in the absence of the Childcare Manager.

The Youth Work position requires direct work with young people who may be at risk of and / or experiencing social exclusion. Multiple complex issues impact upon the lives of this specific target group. The youth worker will have the responsibility to ensure wrap around support is available, coordinated and case managed, in partnership with all relevant community and statutory services.
The successful applicant will have Education to Degree standard preferably in Youth / Justice / Health Promotion work (note: candidates with a Diploma and with exceptional, relevant work experience may also be considered in lieu of degree qualifications), a minimum of 1 year relevant work experience, Car and Full Driving Licence & relevant paid or voluntary experience working with young people.
The ideal candidates will have level 6 qualification in Early Years or Afterschool Education or Youth Work (candidates currently studying will be considered for interview and post could suit a student), an interest in working directly with children and an enthusiasm for same, proven track record of work with children in either a voluntary or paid capacity & demonstrate a strong teamwork ethic.

The Nenagh Youth Development Project, is an established community based project which aims to equip young people with the knowledge skills and attitudes necessary for their appropriate and full participation in society. The project has a particular focus on young people who are at risk of using/abusing drugs and alcohol and who may be at risk. This is a Part time post the successful candidate will be expected to work a minimum of 21 hours per week.
