STAFF GRADE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

FIXED TERM FULL TIME 12 MONTH CONTRACT
LOCATION: WEST LIMERICK CHILDREN’S SERVICES
NEWCASTLE WEST, CO. LIMERICK

Staff Grade Occupational Therapist required to join a dynamic interdisciplinary team for children with disabilities 0-18 years.

Essential:

  • Hold a bachelor of Science Honours degree in Occupational Therapy or MSC in Occupational Therapy from an Irish University
    or a recognised qualification at least equivalent to the above validated by the Department of Health and Children
  • Have a minimum of 12 months post qualification experience working with children
  • Eligible to apply for CORU registration
  • Experience of working with children with disabilities
  • Possess a Full Clean Drivers Licence and access to your own car
  • Capable of working individually and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and keen to develop professional skills
  • Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Progressing Disability Services Programme and Family Centered Practice
