St. Monica's Youth Resource Centre are hiring: Community Employment (CE) Supervisor
St. Monica's Youth Resource Centre (Y.R.C.) are recruiting a Community Employment Supervisor from 25th March 2019 to lead and supervise our CE project. The key responsibility of the CE Supervisor will be to ensure the effective and efficient direction of the human, financial and material resources of the CE Programme, ensuring that the programme is run in accordance with all Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection (DEASP) guidelines and is of maximum benefit to both participants and St. Monica's Youth Resource Centre. The Supervisor's main remit is the ongoing recruitment, provision of training and overall responsibility for the Project and reporting to the CE Project Management Committee.
St. Monica's Youth Resource Centre is a volunteer led service, which provides Youth and Community Services to the young people and their families of Edenmore and the surrounding areas. St. Monica's Y.R.C. is approved for 18 C.E. participants, some of whom are seconded to four other sub-sponsors in the environs of Edenmore, Killester and Kilbarrack.
- Must have 3 years previous direct supervisory experience in Administration, Project management and/or Training or other relevant position.
- Must have attained a Major Award at 3rd Level (QQI Level 6 or higher) in Business/Financial, Administration, Training, Project Management, Community Development or a related discipline.
This is a full-time (39 hours per week) position and the salary is determined by the DEASP.
