The HPSU Skillnet delivers training/networking regionally to all member companies who want a focus on owner/managers and key personnel who are the people that can drive the companies forward in the coming years. This allows management to commit themselves and staff to attending quality subsidised training more often than before.

Over the past 5 years reaction to the network has been significantly greater than anyone had expected. Feedback from companies and trainees has been resoundingly positive with a high level of support for training and network events. All the following targets were well achieved over the past 5 years, Member Companies, Trainees, Training Days , this is testament to the type and quality of the courses that the HPSU network offers. The network is committed to continue providing our members with the highest level of training and expertise accessible to meet their requirements.

The Networks ethos is embedded in the culture of active ownership, participation and driving the network activities by the member companies and this can been seen from the activity and the results over the past 4 years. The network covers a wide geographical area in the BMW region. The regional hubs have worked very well and serve our member companies in the Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Donegal areas specifically.

The network is actively collaborating with Enterprise Centres within these regions and specifically within the relevant academic institutions incubation centres to consolidate the regional and network focus in providing a local base for the delivery of the network activities.

The aims and objectives of HPSU Skillnet are a logical follow on from those established at start up stage in 2008. The strategic direction of the network includes some new aims and objectives that will ensure that the network continues to grow , mainly building on existing capacity and success and extending our reach to unemployed members. The central aim of HPSU Skillnet is to develop the capacity of High Potential Start Up community in the BMW region.
