Cappagh Hospital Foundation: Memory Maker Volunteer

This voluntary role would suit someone who is very good at, and likes to organise / tidy photographs and press clippings. We need someone to organise our old photos & press clippings by date, event and create photo albums with them. We also would like the photos and press clippings to be scanned and saved by date and event on the computer.

South Dublin County Partnership - Intercultural Centre: Conversational English Tutors

Volunteers will support adult migrants to learn English through informal conversation either in small groups or on a one-to-one basis. Volunteers will be responsible for making new students feel welcome and at ease as they work to improve their English Language skills.

Crisis Text Line: Crisis Volunteers Needed

Crisis Text Line is seeking to recruit 300 volunteers in advance of its launch later this year. Volunteers need an ability to listen without judgement, a good internet connection and a private place (usually in their home) to communicate with texters. We ask our Crisis Volunteers to commit to 4 hours per week and complete a total of 200 hours over the course of a year.
