Programme and Advocacy Internship

CBM is a Christian international development organisation, committed to improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities in the poorest countries of the world.

We exist because in situations of extreme hardship, war, famine, drought, and natural disaster, people with disabilities are always at the back of the queue. Poverty and disability go hand in hand creating a cycle of inequality, isolation, and exclusion that leads to the most extreme forms of poverty.

Our vision is for an inclusive world in which all persons with disabilities enjoy their human rights and achieve their full potential. With over 100 years of professional expertise, CBM addresses poverty as a cause, and a consequence, of disability, and works in partnership to create a society for all.

We are looking for a motivated intern with relevant interest and academic background to join our small, dynamic team in Dublin. The intern will be offered a wide range of interesting tasks primarily in the areas of project management and advocacy. The internship is unpaid, but we offer a daily allowance of €10 towards lunch and transport costs.

Candidates are invited to send a short cover letter and CV to louisetalbotbeirne@cbm.ie
Closing date for applications is Thursday 5th December.

CBM is an inclusive employer and encourage all interested to apply. The intern will be required to sign CBM’s code of conduct and follow CBM’s safeguarding policy.
