Role Title: Marketing and Administration Intern
Salary: Unpaid Internship (Free Breakfasts and Lunches)
Reports to: Marketing and Administration Manager
Location: Carmichael Centre, 4 North Brunswick Street Dublin 7
Duration: 8 Weeks, full-time (5 days/week-9am to 5 pm)

FirstLight provides free crisis intervention and free professional counselling services throughout Ireland to bereaved parents and family members whose child has died suddenly.

We are seeking a motivated intern with relevant interest and academic background to join a small dynamic team at our head office in Dublin. The right candidate will ideally be someone looking to gain hands-on experience of working in a marketing and administration role within the charity sector. The position entails two specific projects, the first in the updating of the CRM system by way of telephone and email communication with our clients. The second will require supporting the marketing and administration in our ongoing fundraising campaigns.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Project Managing the updating of the CRM system
  • Working with the Marketing and Administration Manager fundraising and administration projects
  • Providing support with marketing and social media

Qualification requirements

  • Strong communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Dependable and reliable
