About Rosemount Resource Centre

Provide a range of services to meet the needs of the community, these include, Youth Work, Adult Education, Child Care and Information Services.

What's Involved

Rosemount FRC provides a safe warm space for primary school children from diverse backgrounds that is a designated area to do their homework. Ensuring the children go school happy in the knowledge that their homework is correct and completed. The role will involve working as part of a team, supervising and assisting children aged 7 to 12 with homework, and in-house activities. Activities include arts and crafts, painting, drawing, board games, book club, knitting and other developmental activities that will enhance self esteem and develop social skills.

What's required for this position

The skills required are patients, good communication skills, reliability, and ability to help with primary school homework. Some experience of working with children is desirable. A desire to assist each child reach his/her full potential.

Level of English required for this role: Fluent English

Times and commitment required for this role

Monday to Friday - Afternoons
Minimum time commitment: 6 months
Hours required: 2hrs Weekly
