What is expected of volunteers?
Volunteers will work with young people building self-esteem and social skills. Weekly activities can include cookery / arts & crafts / games / music / facilitating group discussions.
Foróige clubs are a fun, safe place for young people to hang out, meet new friends, be listened to and grow. The volunteer youth leader will support local young people in their social and personal development.
You will be responsible for and will gain experience in planning and organising youth friendly activities. You will be expected to attend the youth club on a weekly basis and interact with young people and other youth leaders in a positive and engaging manner.
Who are the young people?
The young people involved are aged 10-18 years.
What’s required for this position?
No specific skill is required - any personal skills can be brought to the role and utilised where needed.

Level of English required for this role: Fluent English
Volunteers will be provided with the following supports:
- Support/ advice/ recognition
- Initial induction and training

Minimum time commitment: 1 year
