Ratoath Youth Club: Volunteers Needed

Ratoath Youth Club is a new and exciting service for young people aged between 12-18 years in Ratoath, Co. Meath. We are based in the Ratoath Community centre and run our groups on a Wednesday evening from 7pm to 9pm. Youth Work Ireland Meath has provided our Volunteers with the appropriate Child Protection training and Garda Vetting which enables the volunteers to safeguard their practices. We officially opened our doors on the 4th September 2018. Our main aim is to create as many opportunities as possible for young people to to learn, grown and socialise in a safe and positive environment right on their door step.

We are looking for like minded people who have a genuine interest in young people and their development. If you are studying in the area of youth work, have a skill you would like to share with teenagers, would like more experience in a voluntary community setting with young people or would just like to get involved, please contact Lisa on 087 090 6062 or email on lisa@youthworkirelandmeath.ie

All volunteers will be subject to Garda Vetting prior to volunteering with the club. Also a level of commitment to attend nights you have selected and committee meetings is essential.

We have upcoming training in November which we would like our new volunteers to attend, therefore we would invite you to get in contact prior to 19th November 2018, however if you have past this date, still get in contact.

We look forward to hearing from you.
