The Bohermore Community Project: Volunteers for Activity and Homework Support Clubs

The Bohermore Community Project Ltd works with children, families and all members of our community. Our work has its beliefs in the value and dignity of everyone - supporting self-development, empowerment, self-advocacy, social justice and equality for all, in partnership with local people and other agencies.

We are looking for volunteers to support young people during school term time, we provide Activity and Homework Support Clubs for young people in Primary School and Secondary School. 

Volunteers role would be to help with with reading, maths, Irish and other subjects. In other settings, after-school volunteers may simply ensure that kids get their homework done. Activity and Homework Support Clubs for children from Junior Infants to 6th Class in the Primary home work club and the teens in the secondary club . Our activities include: thinking games (such as quizzes and Charades), active games such as different sports and playground style game, arts and crafts, cookery and computers.
