Enable Ireland: Volunteers Needed - Meath Heritage Cycle Tour

The Sport Ireland Meath Heritage Cycle tour returns for its 10th year on 28th & 29th July 2018.

Enable Ireland have been chosen as the 2017 & 2018 charity partner for the cycle, with all proceeds raised going to Enable Ireland’s services in Meath. Over 950 children attend services in Meath, with locations in Dunshaughlin, Trim, Kells & Navan.

Saturday 28th July

Volunteers needed (1 – 7pm) for registration and general stewarding
Approx. 10 volunteers needed

Sunday 29th July

Volunteers needed (6.30am – 3pm) for the below tasks
Approx. 30 volunteers needed

Sunday morning (6am – 10.30am):

  • Registration
  • Entry / scanning passes
  • Handing out information/emergency contact details
  •  Giving out t-shirts

Sunday (10.30am – 3pm):

  • Setting up marquee
  • Carrying boxes
  • Setting up table
  • Laying out food
  • Handing food to participants
  • Cleaning and clearing tables
  • Helping in car park

If volunteers can’t work a full day that’s no problem at all, we will run shifts of 2 + hours on both days.
