The Bohermore Community Project Ltd works with children, families and all members of our community. Our work has its beliefs in the value and dignity of everyone - supporting self-development, empowerment, self-advocacy, social justice and equality for all, in partnership with local people and other agencies.
We are looking for volunteers to support in our After Schools Club. We do Secondary and Primary Homework Clubs which offer support for all young people in Bohermore, especially coming up to exams in areas the young people may need extra guidance. Volunteers can also help with Activity Clubs which Support Social, Personal and development skills for children from Junior Infants to 6th Class.
Our activities include: thinking games (such as Pictionary, quizzes and Charades), active games (such as different sports and playground style games), arts and crafts, cookery and computers. We also run a summer program where we bring young people on trips and have in house activities
