Suicide or Survive is delighted to be bringing the following fully funded programmes to Dungarvan, Co. Waterford:
- Our widely acclaimed Wellness Workshop is coming to The Park Hotel, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford on Thursday, 8th November from 9.30am to 4.30pm. This fully funded workshop (there is no cost to the participant) is for everyone as we all have mental health, it’s what makes us laugh, love and have a great time as well as what makes us feel down, anxious and afraid. The Wellness Workshop is a great day out and is filled with simple, practical and effective tips, tools and techniques that anyone can use to monitor and manage their mental health on a day-to-day basis. It breaks down stigma and helps participants to build their personal resilience.

WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) programme coming to your area:

WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) is a 2.5-day programme that helps you develop your own personally tailored Wellness Action Plan that you can use on a day-to-day basis to manage your wellness and that you can use if you become unwell to restore it. The programme has been proven both locally and internationally to be effective for anyone who wants to take charge of their mental health. WRAP takes place over 3 consecutive weeks – to complete the programme please ensure you are free for all the dates specified. The first two days run from 9.30am to 4.30pm. The final day runs from 9.30am to 1pm
Both these programme s are fully funded (there is no cost to participant). This is possible due to the incredible fundraising of Liam Brazil and the wonderful community of Waterford at the annual Mental Health & Suicide Awareness Cycle in Dungarvan each Easter.
