Latin American Development Issues Course (Cork): 10 April 2018
Are you looking to expand your knowledge of current affairs? Have you always been interested in learning more about Latin America? Are you travelling to the region soon? The Latin American Development Issues Course is for you!
This lively and participative course is open to anyone with an interest in Latin America. The course is organised by the Latin American Solidarity Centre and the UCC Department of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies, with support from Irish Aid.
This course will start on Tuesday 10th April 2018 and run for a total of four weeks. The course takes place each Tuesday evening from 6-8pm at University College Cork.
Participants will acquire a general understanding of Latin American social, political, historical and economic developments as well as more detailed information about topics of contemporary significance, such as environmental threats, gender issues, indigenous and human rights, social movements and popular resistance.
