Health Management Institute of Ireland: Managing Challenging Behaviour - New Course

Course: Managing Challenging Behaviour - New course from HMI

Book online: http://www.hmi.ie/events/managing-challenging-behaviour-dublin-november-2017/

Staff working in health and social care environments have mostly positive, routine experiences when working with patients and other service users. Unfortunately, on some occasions, they will experience with what is termed challenging behaviour.

Our new one day course is designed to help staff handle challenging behaviour with confidence and competence. It will equip healthcare staff with the skills necessary to de-escalate difficult situations as well as supporting those in their care.

This tutor-led day will provide a safe space for participants to explore, develop and put into practice techniques which will help them to manage challenging behaviour.
