We Make Good is looking for equipment donations to help us get our new refugee women’s textile social enterprise up and running!
The social enterprise, the first of its kind in Ireland, will be providing training and employment to women from a refugee background and will be contributing to a better life for them and their families. We will be using organic and recycled materials for our range of Irish designed products, which will be as ethical and sustainable as possible.
We need the following in good working order:
- Washing machine
- Ironing board
- Textile Printing screens, inks, squeegees, and other equipment
- Ergonomic kneeling chairs x 4
- Large cones of natural yarn (wool/cotton/linen)
- Bolts of natural textiles
- Shelving (freestanding and wall-mounted)
We are also looking for out-of-use sails or bouncy house material to help us get our new refugee women’s textile social enterprise up and running! Rather than see the material go into the landfill we are giving it another life in form of a bag and other exciting products.
We are also looking for partners who have regular quantities of textiles that can be repurposed - if that is you or your business - give us a call.
If you can help or want further information please don’t hesitate to contact Caroline/Joan via email : firstname.lastname@example.org
Anything and everything helps - thanks a million!
