Participants needed for a research study on the use of Online Mental Health Self-Help Programmes

‘Online mental health self-help programmes’ are apps, online programmes and other online resources that are offered as a way to improve mental well-being and cope with mental health problems. This study explores the use of online mental health self-help programmes and associated technology (Internet, computer devices) by people with mental health problems in their everyday lives.

Participants Needed for Study on the Emotions we feel when Listening to Music and watching Movies (aged 18-40 years)

Volunteers will be asked to come to the Global Health Institute (located in The Lloyd building) in Trinity College Dublin during the week of Friday 15th February - Friday 22nd February only. You will be met in the foyer and will come to our testing room. There you will listen to two pieces of music through headphones for a short period, perform a simple computerised task and have your sweat level measured while you listen.

Friends of Suicide Loss: Suicide Bereavement Support Group (Recently Bereaved) in Dublin

New 6 weeks support group for the recently bereaved by suicide. Suitable for those in the first 12-18 months. Starting on 5th March 2019 Time: 6:30 p.m. -8:30 p.m. Location: 9c Abbey Street Lower, Dublin 1. Facilitated by trained volunteers and a professional F O S L counsellor. This will be a closed therapeupic support group held weekly.
