Greenan Maze, Rathdrum will host a free talk on Saturday 3rd March 2018 "Biodiversity and Planting for Pollinators" with Sarah Rubalcava from Rubalcava Heritage Services at 10am and also a "Recycling Workshop - get your bin sorted" with Sylvia Thompson (Recycling Ambassador Programme & VOICE) at 11.30am.

Care Alliance Ireland: Launch of New Booklet / Resource - The Way Ahead - A Resource to support Former Family Carers

There are at least 62,000 people in Ireland whose Family Caring ends annually. Family Caring ends generally following the death of a loved one or admission into long term care. In collaboration with a number of former Family Carers and other not-for profit organisations including the Irish Hospice Foundation, the HSE, UCC, and West Cork Carers Support Group, Care Alliance Ireland has produced an A5 booklet aimed at former Family Carers.

Focus Ireland: Lunchtime Talk - Public Health & Homelessness - Two Papers on Hospital Use and Self-Harm among the Chronic Homeless Population

Confirmed for Focus Ireland’s March Lunchtime talk are Dr Clíona Ní Cheallaigh (TCD) and Dr Peter Barrett (UCC) who will present on their respective medical research papers relating to self-harm and unscheduled hospital visits among the chronic homeless population in Ireland. This event will be of particular interest to those working in the area of public health and homelessness.

Project Us Limerick 2018

Project Us is a five year, all island, Irish Aid-funded initiative to engage the public with the United Nations Global Goals. Project Us is hosting Conversation Cafés in all major cities.
