Victim Assistance – European Day for Victims of Crime Mass in Knock Basilica 23rd of February
Victim Assistance, a voluntary charity offering “Emotional” and “Practical” assistance to all victims of crime and those and their families that have experienced a traumatic incident, invite everyone to their annual Mass in Knock Basilica Co Mayo at 12 pm on the 23rd of February to commemorate European Day for Victims of Crime.
Each year, across Europe, 1 in 7 people fall victim to crime and to commemorate this, the 22nd of February is the designated European Day for Victims of Crime. We at Victim Assistance will remember all who suffer at the hands of criminals by holding an annual Mass in Knock Basilica on the nearest Sunday to the 22nd of February.

About Victim Assistance
Victim Assistance is a voluntary organisation founded in 2005, that offers a range of services designed to assist victims and those that have experienced a traumatic incident, in coping with the effects of crime and trauma. Our service is also available to victim’s family members. We work closely with in association with the various Garda Victim Services offices throughout the country along with other charities/organisations to provide confidential support to victims.
