Care Alliance Ireland invite you to their 3rd biannual Family Carer Research conference, taking place in collaboration with the UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems. This conference will take place on 14th November 2019, beginning at 09:30, with refreshments and lunch provided. The event will take place in The Red Room in the UCD student centre (see map here).
Following on from our successful research conferences in 2015 and 2017, Care Alliance Ireland is pleased to partner with UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems - with funding from the Health Research Board - to invite you to our 2019 Family Carer Research Conference. The theme of this year's conference is "Towards A Refreshed National Carers Strategy – From Research to Policy". The aim of the conference is to highlight research projects and findings which can inform the continued development of progressive family carer policy in Ireland.
Featuring eight oral presentations, we hope guests leave the conference with a deeper understanding of family carer issues in Ireland, and how we can further push for a continued development of progressive family carer policy in Ireland. Agenda attached below.
Registration for the full day costs €30 per person, which includes lunch and refreshments.
