Mother Tongues organisation takes great pleasure to invite all heritage language teachers and migrant community groups in Ireland to the first conference on Heritage Language Education in Ireland. The purpose of this event is to create an environment where international can share good practice on teaching heritage languages and cultures. The conference will take place on 3rd of November, 2018 at the Wood Quay Venue in Dublin (Dublin City Council).
Our conference on Heritage Language Education in Ireland brings together researchers, teachers, policy makers and all professionals who have an interest in heritage language education in Ireland. Among our esteemed keynote speakers is Renata Emilsson Peskova from Móðurmál – the Association on Bilingualism, an Icelandic umbrella organisation whose goal it is to assist heritage language groups, heritage language teachers, and plurilingual families in Iceland.
