As part of the government’s “Action Plan to Expand Apprenticeship and Traineeship in Ireland 2016-2020” SOLAS, has both carried out and commissioned research to identify barriers to apprenticeship participation amongst a range of diverse groups including the travelling community, ex-offenders, migrants and including women and girls.
We would like to invite stakeholders within the apprenticeship system and those from organisations that represent diverse groups to attend our “Let’s Talk About Apprenticeship” event on 9:30am-2pm on Wednesday 30th May @ Smock Alley Theatre, 6-7 Exchange Street Lower, Temple Bar, Dublin 8.
At the this event, we will communicate the results and recommendations of this research, which will be followed by a short series of talks from apprenticeship stakeholders. Lunch will also be included.
