Early Childhood Ireland - Over €285,000 Raised on National Pyjama Day

Early Childhood Ireland has today announced the total amount raised by children across Ireland as part of their 20th National Pyjama Day. Over €285,000 (€287,611.52) was donated to two child-centred projects: autism charity AsIAm’s ‘Child and Family Support Programme’.

In light of verdict, we in ICCL redouble our call for comprehensive reform of the Coroner service, in line with our research and the recent report of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Justice. The lack of direct support for bereaved families is one of the fundamental deficiencies in the Service and must be rectified.
