In light of verdict, we in ICCL redouble our call for comprehensive reform of the Coroner service, in line with our research and the recent report of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Justice. The lack of direct support for bereaved families is one of the fundamental deficiencies in the Service and must be rectified.
