Dog Care Attendant (Volunteer Role)

Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland are currently seeking a number of volunteers to help with the care of their dogs who are training to be assistance dogs for children with autism. You will be an attentive, doting Dog Care Attendant overseeing the well being of the dogs in our care. Responsibilities will include cleaning pens, exercise and toileting dogs, grooming and welfare checks etc. Previous experience of caring/working with large dogs would be advantages and a passion for animal welfare is a must. This is a great opportunity to get an insight into the training and care of service dogs.~
The role is Monday to Friday only, with two shifts (8am - 12.30 and 12.30 - 5pm) to accommodate the drop off and collection of dogs.
