South Dublin County Partnership: Volunteers – Help @ Home Project
Volunteers Needed – Help @ Home Project
South Dublin County Partnership works with people who experience poverty and social exclusion. SDCP promotes social cohesion, active citizenship and labour market participation with a focus on the most disadvantaged neighbourhoods in the area.
We offer a range of integrated activities in Community Development, Lifelong Learning, Enterprise and Employment, Family and Early Childhood and Health and Wellbeing.
Help @ Home is a new project offered to families in the Tallaght area who are going through a tough time and have at least one child under the age of 18.
The project will support families by providing short interventions to help with home cleaning/organisation to help alleviate the pressure they are experiencing.
We are looking for volunteers who are experienced parents and are willing to help support families in their home by carrying out light household tasks so they can concentrate on the important role of being a parent.
Volunteers will be provided with first rate training and support in this role. All new volunteers will be Garda vetted.
