Focus Ireland: School Talks Programme Volunteers

Would you like to support young people to gain a better understanding of homelessness? Are you good at IT?

Focus Ireland is recruiting for School Talk Ambassadors to give online talks nationwide.

Focus Ireland has been committed to the School Talks Programme since it was established in 2011. The programme aims to encourage secondary schools to become actively involved in the issue of homelessness in Ireland. It provides a framework, structure and incentive for schools to integrate equality and awareness activities into their school planning and learning.

Our Vision

We believe that young people have extraordinary potential to create positive change in our society. The programme promotes inclusion and equity, providing students with an understanding of homelessness, but also awareness of this reality among young people through reflection and empathy.
