The Daughters of Charity Community Services (DoCCS), located at 9 Henrietta Street, Dublin 1, is a community-based organisation providing a range of educational, training and social care services for children, young people and adults living in Dublin’s North Inner City. Our services are targeted to individuals and families experiencing socio-economic and educational disadvantage.
The Henrietta Senior Citizens Service of the Daughters of Charity Community Services provides in-house meals, recreational and educational activities in a day service and outreach activities and meals on wheels for older people in the Dublin 1/7 north inner city catchment area.
We are currently looking for a volunteer cook for our Senior Citizens Service. If you or somebody you know would be interested in volunteering part-time Monday and Friday from 9.30am to 12.00pm daily we would love to hear from you.
The volunteer would need:
- At least 2 years cooking experience (to include cooking for a large number of clients).
- HACCP required, implementing & maintaining HACCP.
- Understanding of the needs of senior citizens.
