About HOPE: The Hope Foundation (HOPE) is an Irish registered charity (CHY No. 13237) which was established in 1999. HOPE works in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) in India, providing child protection, healthcare, education, vocational training and emergency response programmes for street connected children and slum dwelling communities. The children and communities with whom we work are some of the most vulnerable and most disadvantaged in our world.
Volunteer requirement summary: Cannonball Ireland is the annual gathering of supercars for a road trip around Ireland between 9-11 September. We are their chosen charity partner for this year. They have stops in 4 key locations where spectators gather to see these supercars in action. HOPE volunteers will be collecting donations from spectators using HOPE buckets for cash donations, QR codes and tap & pay using bank cards or google pay. Volunteers will also distribute HOPE leaflets to the crowd and assist the Volunteer manager (International Fundraising Director for HOPE) as required.
