Foróige - Big Brother Big Sister: Youth Mentor - Waterford / Tipperary
Big Brother Big Sister Volunteers are asked to spend one hour a week with a young person. These young people are between the ages of 10 and 18 and are participants that would benefit from developing a friendship with a caring adult, who is outside of their family, school or peer environments.
Together, the adult and the young person will decide on the type of activities they would like to do...go for a hot chocolate, play football, do arts and crafts, play computer games or listen to music...have fun!
This role is flexible for both the mentor and the young person; meetings will happen at a place and time that suits both the volunteer (the "Big") and the young person (the "Little").
