SAOL PROJECT VOLUNTEERS WANTED
The SAOL Project is Ireland’s only all-Female drug rehabilitation and education programme. SAOL is a feminist-based trauma informed service that works with women impacted by addiction, poverty, domestic sexual and gender-based violence, homelessness and trauma.
SAOL is based in Dublin’s North Inner City and has been working with women for over 25 years. SAOL is a creative dynamic project that responds to the needs of our SAOL Sisters in every way we can.
SAOL is seeking to recruit and train volunteers to facilitate our service responding to Women over weekends. Volunteers would partner with staff to provide a much-needed social space to SAOL Sisters on Saturdays and Sundays
What Would you be doing?
We ask all successful volunteers to engage in our Saturday Brunch Programme at least twice per month. The Brunch session are for 2 hours on Saturday and Sunday – this is a friendly warm open space for women who need this intervention at weekends.

An opportunity to work in a dynamic project with women, the chance to build relationships with SAOL sisters in a safe caring environment. Access to training on addiction and trauma informed care and ongoing support from SAOL Staff.
