Solas Project: Solas Project Internship
Solas Project Internship (Volunteer position)
ABOUT SOLAS PROJECT
Solas Project is a charity (CHY 17385) based in inner city Dublin. Our vision is to see an Ireland where all children and young people truly know their self-worth and can take full advantage of their potential.
Our programmes specifically target children at risk of early school leaving due to social and educational disadvantage, and aim to provide purposeful activity in a caring and secure environment in an attempt to meet the physical, emotional and intellectual needs of the children.
One of our main activities is an after school programme which caters for 35+ children (aged 5 – 13 years) in three locations in Dublin 8. The Club strives to be a home away from home sitting around a table to have a meal, helping with homework, and doing a fun activity together.
