Social Media Volunteer Officer

Role: a Social Media volunteer to promote, develop and maintain our online presence in order to maximise our impact and to promote ourselves as widely as possible to the community.

Location: Manor Street

Number of Hours: Min 4 per week

Key Tasks:

  • Help create and maintain a social media plan
  • Develop and manage content for our website and social media platforms
  • Promote our activities and achievements through social media
  • Keep our social media channels updated regularly
  • Encourage others to comment on our posts and share them with others
  • Track the effectiveness of our social media work
  • Develop publicity materials and communication techniques

Relevant Skills:

  • Understanding, and working knowledge of different types of Social Media platforms
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • An interest in, knowledge of or willingness to learn about Addiction, Homelessness, Mental Health and Public Health
  • Good understanding of confidentiality
